IGNOU Study Centre
IGNOU operates more than 2,500 Study Centres in India and abroad. These centres are also known as Learner Support Centres (LSCs). IGNOU Study Centres support students enrolled in Open and Distance Learning (ODL) programmes by providing both academic and administrative help.

IGNOU is an open university that offers distance education and part-time education. There are 21 schools of study and more than 56 regional centres through which education is provided. Located at Maidan Garhi, New Delhi, the IGNOU library is a rich information centre in the field of distance education. It has a large collection of books, journals and other related materials. It was established in 1986 in sync with the IGNOU objectives.

It is a central distance-learning university which offers flexible and quality education in disciplines like arts, commerce, science, computers, nutrition, etc. It is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Distance Education Council (DEC).
